This app has a great feature set, unfortunately the features do not work. 1) The app as a rule has roughly 8 seconds delay from the time something happens to when you see or hear it. 2) The image quality settings do not appear to do anything. I set mine to always use low because the drops outs and lag were so bad. Despite this, it still appears to try to optimize the image resolution. It then drops out when an event occurs as it buffers and reduces the quality. So you neither hear not see the triggering event. 3) The persistent audio feature doesnt work consistently. Sometimes it turns off as soon as the display shuts off (I found pushing the app to the background before turning off the display sometimes helps this). Sometimes it turns off when it has a lag event. And finally sometimes it will work for hours and then shut off at an unknown time in the middle of the night leaving you in a panic over the health of your newborn that you were listening to. I believe a couple of the issues are: 1) The fact that all of the data collected from the cameras must be uploaded to ivideons servers and then streamed to the device. This might make sense for remote access, but not if both devices are on the same network. It is hugely inefficient and simply doesnt work as implemented. 2) The previously mentioned attempt by the app to always use the maximum image resolution. The advertised image quality just isnt supportable as currently implemented. I am running this on iPhone 5s, with an always up to date OS. I have an Asus RT-AC66U gigabit router running on Xfinity cable internet in a suburb. There should be no bandwidth issues in this signal chain. As the title says, this app is not useful as a baby monitor. I will keep looking for a better implementation of the concepts attempted by this app.

This app and the server component that you install on your computer work amazingly well. Everything from the little details to the core functionality are polished and provide excellent functionality and results. Well done, and excellent job by the developers. Ive tried just about every similar app and surveillance program, and this is hands-down the best one. The only thing they need to add to make it perfect, is GPS location awareness so that my cameras shut off when Im here and turn on when I leave.

I have a few wifi surveillance systems and this one is the easiest to set up and the quickest to access. Night vision could use a little improvement, but thats not a major issue. Great little unit at this price.

So far the app and camera were a breeze to setup. There are a few too many notifications based on where I put the camera, but the alerts are very reassuring. The app has been solid and Ive been running it for a week straight with no lag or crashes over wifi and lte.

This is the best! Easy to set up and it works great even in the dark. I bought 2 to monitor a lake house, best money spent.

I can only speak very highly of these both the app and the cameras there very user-friendly had them up and running and less than two minutes its very useful I love that Im able to add motion detection sound Texan its great to be able to keep an ion my girls while Im out in the garage there able to communicate with me Im able to respond its just five stars across-the-board I will be a lifelong member cant wait to see what else they come up with

This has to be the best app I have tried for video monitoring so far, I cant believe how much better than the competition it is. Worked immediately soon as my account details were setup on the server camera and all my clients (desktop, iphone) work flawlessly. Will definitely use them for paid services like recording as well.

Wow !!! This app is fabulous!!!! I have a cabin two hours away and have visual contact with any sound or movement inside the cabin. great investment for security of property

I will give it 5 stars if I could disable the microphone on it. I use it inside my house facing out the window but the mic picks up all the noise from inside. The ability to disable it would be great. Just a software update after some code. Great looking, works very well. I will recommend this to others.

Very easy to set up. Clear, beautiful color daytime picture, very nice black and white night vision. Sound sensitivity easy to adjust, and it works.

Great clarity, happy with the app. I like being able to tell my son to get back into bed without having to get out of bed to do so, especially after midnight. Between the app and the camera im happy with the purchase.

This product is extremely easy to set up navigate and manage. It does not have the pan remote capability that Foscam does.... Nor does it have the audio capability but for a person that has been frustrated with alternatives this makes video surveillance very easy.

Im really happy with this product now that it is up and working. It is responsive to sound and movement and sends notifications appropriately. The images and videos are of great quality. Unfortunately the documentation is nearly worthless. Fortunately the customer service is terrific. Every company should have people as good as Natalie.

App is great, set up of cameras - super easy , the desktop and download of a specific "event" is not user friendly

As a Mac-based home, we had our first camera set up in minutes with monitoring apps loaded on phones, tablets and laptops. Very quick and easy set-up, with hardware included.

So easy to set up and use!! Great product!!

The videos are constantly buffering. When I receive a motion alert it can take me several minutes to actually view what moved because of the constant buffering and occasional grey and pixelated view. I get more information out of the tiny thumbnail for each camera than I do in the actual live or archived videos. Often when I try to look at an archived video it will spin for a moment and then revert back to live view, never showing me what I wanted to see.

Like the sound and motion detection. Awesome
